ReGen Villages

A housing neighborhood of 203 homes outside Amsterdam, self-sustaining in water, power, food, and waste. Designed as an exemplary, affordable, regenerative model for self-sufficient living.

  • A fully integrated closed-loop (circular) metabolism, self-supportive for its essential needs.
  • Permaculture and agroforestry plus greenhouses with hydroponics and vertical farming.
  • A landscape optimized for biodiversity, clean water and air, and ecosystem services.

Salesforce Transbay

The world's largest rooftop park, in the center of one of the world's most exciting cities. We developed the concept with Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, restructuring the existing downtown transport hub.

  • Water purification, air filtration, and improved urban biodiversity.
  • An exhilarating new green space above a working transit center.
  • A smart business model that delivers a public park with private funding, at a healthy profit.

Orchid City

A regenerative city district designed as productive landscape: terraced, heavily planted neighborhoods threaded with streams, food forests, and agriculture, where daily life happens among the things that sustain it.

  • Productive terraces, biome food forests, and on-site agriculture woven into the plan.
  • Satellite neighborhoods around walkable cores and a waterfront delta resort.
  • Stepped green buildings above wildflower meadows, streams, and shared gardens.
